The Sony DSC S930 is an entry level digital camera. It has 10 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. This is one of the more basic digital cameras and this is reflected in its price.

If you are looking for a digital camera at this end of the market you will find it has a cut down set of features when compared to more advanced digital cameras. For example the DSC S930 has a movie mode that is fine for playing back on a computer, but will struggle on a television set. The 2.4 inch LCD screen is a shade smaller than you will find on other digital cameras, even other entry level models.

The DSC S930 includes a small number of preset scene modes. When you select one of these it helps the camera to decide on the settings it needs to use for the shot.
